Go Passionately Pink to help save lives! — Just wear pink, have fun and raise money to fight breast cancer. Be inspired by the multitude of ideas right here, or think of your own. There are so many creative ways to have fun and fight breast cancer.
Worship in Pink
This year, our Affiliate is starting a new Worship in Pink program. The purpose of this program is to collaborate with community faith-based organizations in order to reach out to diverse populations.
Using community speakers, breast cancer survivors, and faith leaders, we are able to introduce Komen, Breast-Self Awareness messaging and local resources to community members.
The goal of this program is to reach out to our Target Communities that are rural and lacking in health services in order to educate our community about the importance of early detection, breast self awareness, and the local resources that offer assistance.
